Location matters with Haworth. According to their homepage, the second step of their consultation process is an in-person meeting. Their “about” page also states, “Relationships are built through in-person meetings and phone calls, not through email. - The Haworth Way.”
It’s clear that personal service is their priority. And with their clients located in the area, Haworth has no choice but to be experts in local Twin Cities and Minnesota state compliance.
CSI Accounting & Payroll’s offices are spread across half of the country. We’re headquartered in St Louis Park, a beautiful suburb of Minneapolis. We also have an office near Baltimore, Maryland, and will soon acquire another location near Chicago, Illinois.
As long as you’re in the continental U.S., your location doesn’t affect your service. While we welcome our clients to visit us in person, we serve a large portion of our clients remotely, with many never setting foot in our offices. Haworth’s website doesn’t have a pricing page. The only mention of money is an option to pay your bill online.
However, Haworth and CSI are both members of the Professional Association of Small Business Accountants (PASBA), so they may follow similar pricing practices (see CSI’s below). Without more details, though, this is not confirmed.
